And when using it as a shield restore, it's better to stick with ideal efficiency so it can be recast.Įdit: Double Dipping - SPol Damage = EnemyShieldAmount * 1.25 * PowerStrength% * PowerStrength% So you build SPol for Strength and Range as a nuke (It double-dips in effectiveness up to 200% Strength so I consider that the bare minimum against Corpus, and run with 50% efficiency). Augmented, it restores a large amount of overshields to you. SPol can also be used to restore shields and teammate's shields and even defense object shielding. Shield Polarize is your anti-shield nuke, but it's effectiveness against armor is greatly reduced, so it's mostly Corpus only - Void only if you're stacking 4x CP aurae. I've seen her be vital in 1hr+ T4 survivals so she cant be that bad. I just think Mag is really undervalued and people don't realise how good she can be in game.
Somebody made I build where you use Bullet attractor as a shield but it does take setting up. I think it'd be quite useful for heavies but I find other abilities better. With a Strength build you get less duration so Bulllet attractor takes a hit. I don't use Crush that often as damage output drops off quite quickly but with the augment I hear that it's super useful in Raids. Also, you can pull to get in range for a finisher. Very little cost to buy you some time to get out of fire or to get a heavy down so you can take it out. Once they explode the cause collateral damage to everything around that has no shields or shield you've just stripped. The secret to using it and getting best results to nuking whole rooms is to use it when there are Shield/orokin Ospreys around and they're connected to things.
Spammable with efficiency build and you can hit 2k+ shields with the augment. It scales with enemy and keeps your, teammates and defense pods shields topped up. Get yourself Shield Transference augment and take trips to corpus tiles AND void tiles. IMO No need to worry about duration which is mainly for Bullet attractor. I use Mag offensively, with support a by product of her main skill I use.
